Matcha Smoothie


Using Matcha Green Tea in a Smoothie is an excellent way to begin your day. The benefits being that it is fast, simple, and healthy due to matcha in the smoothie. A matcha smoothie is a new way to drink your tea. Also, you can use bananas, milk, or milk alternatives. Matcha smoothies are antioxidant-rich and will provide your mind and body with an energetic boost to carry you through the day. Matcha works well in a lot of different smoothies and its a great way to make use of matcha’s nutritional value.
Indeed there are a lot of different kinds of matcha smoothies you can use to start your day. Below I have included the type of matcha smoothie most popularly consumed. Just remember you can always add ingredients of your choice!

Servings: 3 Cups


2 1/2 cups peaches frozen
1 banana sliced
1 cup baby spinach packed
1/4 cup almonds
2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder
1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup coconut milk unsweetened


Add all ingredients into a blender.
Blend for about 80to 90 seconds until the mixture is smooth.
Add vanilla if you prefer.
Keep in mind that you can use your own choice of nuts and milk. If you are vegan than milk alternatives can be used for your matcha smoothie. Some people are even turned off by including matcha green tea in a smoothie because of its thick green look. However, matcha smoothies are nutritious, tasty and can keep you feeling full.
Remember there are a lot of good reasons to drink smoothies. They are convenient because they are quick and easy to prepare. A lot of people skip breakfast because they don’t have the time, even though scientific studies have  validated how important breakfast is. Smoothies can be prepared in two minutes! Adding matcha to your smoothie will enhance the nutritious benefits including detox, extra energy, and anti cancer properties.
